Your grounds, your way!
Each award has its own scoring system that is adjusted to suit the area you have available for nature assessment. For example an area of 2 acres is not scored the same way as a large estate with 30 acres available for assessment. Both the 2 acre site and the 30 acre site can score high enough to achieve a gold medal award as they will be assessed within their own category - See below for each of our assessment groupings based on size.
Group A - Small Grounds
Less than 5 acres available for assessment
Group B - Medium Grounds
5.1 acres - 40 acres available for assessment
More than 40.1 acres available for assessment
Group C - Large grounds
Located within recognised city boundaries
Group D - Cityscapes
Each of the above 4 groups have their own scoring system. This allows a more scientifically accurate biodiversity matrix to be applied to each company when measuring the biodiversity relative to the spaces you have for assessment.
